Becoming a member
Requirements
- Scientific excellence in health-related research or a concrete plan for developing into the direction of health-related research
- Strong willingness to actively contribute to the activities and tasks of the Research Network (such as participating in outreach and third mission activities, supervising theses via the Research Network’s platform MasterMatch, or participating in collaborative grant activities)
- Motivation to attend the Research Network’s annual events (such as workshops, retreats)
Benefits for members
Members of the Research Network benefit from a number of organisational and financial support structures, including
- Seed Funding for initialising projects and preparing grant submissions
- Financial support for student theses in collaboration with external stakeholders to foster Service Learning
- Financial and organisational support for science communication and Third Mission initiatives
- Workshops and trainings open to members and ECRs associated with members
- Support for dissemination of research findings
Application procedure
Expressions of interest will be assessed by the Research Network’s co-directors, Robert Böhm and Janina Kehr, and steering committee (Manuela Baccarini, Jörg Menche, Martin Nagl-Cupal, Katharina Theresa Paul, Monika Pietrzak-Franger, Wolfram Weckwerth, and Barbara Wessner).

- How do you envision your contribution to the Research Network? Which activities would you like to engage in?
- How does your research complement the Research Network’s existing expertise?
Short CV (max. 2 pages):
- detailing your scientific expertise,
- key projects you are involved in,
- up to 10 publications related to health research,
- your most significant achievements in health research.
